Three Good Things

A way to tune into the positive events in your life.

Unlock the power of positivity with this simple yet profound daily practice. By focusing on three good things each day, you'll train your brain to notice and savor positive experiences, boosting mood and resilience. This guide offers a structured approach to cultivating gratitude, enhancing well-being, and fostering a more optimistic outlook on life.

1. What are three good things that happened to you today?

Reflect on your day and identify three positive events, no matter how small or significant.

2. Give each event a title.

Create a brief, memorable title that captures the essence of the positive event.

3. Describe each event in detail. Where were you? Who was involved? What was said?

Paint a vivid picture of the event, including location, people, and any relevant sensory details.

4. How did each of these events make you feel in the moment, and how do they make you feel now?

Explore your emotional response both during the event and as you recall it.

5. Why do you think each good thing happened?

Reflect on the causes or circumstances that led to this positive event in your life.

Remember, there's no right or wrong way to journal. The key is to focus on the positive aspects of your day and explore them in a way that feels meaningful to you. With consistent practice, you'll likely find yourself more attuned to the good things in your life, big and small.
